It usually does not sound like it, but I take my job very seriously. I was brought up that if you are going to do any job, no matter what it is, do everything you can to do the best at that job. I strive daily to do that. I was also brought up on a farm where things were tight and times were hard, so we learned to entertain ourselves. That’s where the humorous side comes from.

I have been in the door business for over 30 years and I have learned that happy people work way better than frustrated people. So I am app to throw in a joke or two into the conversation if I feel the guy on the phone is upset.

As for me as a person, I love to build things. There is a personal satisfaction seeing something that you made with your own two hands, especially when other people can enjoy it for years to come.
